Meet the Team

Alison Thiel

Director and Senior Occupational Therapist.
Alison juggles a client caseload with the management of a business and all that comes with that. Since graduating from Charles Sturt University - Albury in 2006, Alison has worked in a variety of practice areas, giving her diverse skills, knowledge and experience. She has worked in remote indigenous communities; palliative care; specialist vision service; community health; acute hospital; in-patient rehabilitation; Hand Therapy & the private health sector. Having worked in the north east of Victoria since 2008, Alison has great knowledge of the local area and support services available to ensure your clients receive the assistance they require to ”live life to their greatest potential”.  

Nerae Anstee

Senior Occupational Therapist
Nerae joined the team in 2018 in a full time capacity and has been a brilliant asset to the team. She has been working in Private Practice in the community settings for the last 6 years and has a special interest in home modifications. Nerae studied at Latrobe University in Bendigo. Outside of work, Nerae enjoys coaching and playing netball.

Jane Day

Occupational Therapist
Jane has been an OT for over 35 years, working in a variety of settings including acute and tertiary rehab, vocational rehab and residential aged care. She has been a team leader and operated her own private practice in the past. Jane has a particular interest in neurological disorders and the prescription of adaptive equipment and complex seating. Jane is married with 4 adult children and has a keen interest in swimming, walking and cooking.

Simone Svarc 

Occupational Therapist
Simone joined the team initially in a part time position 2 days a week however at the commencement of 2020 she increased to working full time. Simone has skills in a vast number of clinical areas, with particular interests in Neuro Rehab and Pain Management. When not working, Simone enjoys keeping fit, enjoying nature and visiting wineries.

Narelle Alkemade

Allied Health Assistant
Narelle completed her Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance. Narelle has been working in the health sector for 8 years including as a career in a nursing home, community care and allied health assistant positions. Narelle is now growing her skills and assisting the Occupational Therapists with different supports to help them provide care to their clients.

Terri-Ann Palmer

Occupational Therapist
Terri-Ann has been an Occupational Therapist for 20 years working primarily in rural community settings.
Terri-Ann loves travelling, crotchet and playing the ukulele.

Robyn Sharman

Allied Health Assistant
Graduated from her Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant in 2018. She assists the Occupational Therapists with tasks to help them provide a thorough and timely service to our clients as well as completes direct support for clients under the direction of one of the OTs.

Domonique Churches

Administration / Accounts 
Domonique works 3 days a week helping out the team with admin tasks.
On the weekends you will find Domonique spending time with family and friends.
Domonique and her young family love to go camping and explore this fabulous country.
